Job Title: NOC Manager LAN WAN ITIL East Grinstead
Description
A leading name in Uk System Integartion require an NOC Manager to join this rapidly expanding organisation. The company provides it's customers With a VNO operation, WAN/LAN infrastructure services and resells Juniper, Extreme, Foundry, Cisco, F5 and various other manufacturers. The position will be based in East Grinstead and the candidate will run the network operations centre, lead, manage and supervise 10 members of the team. You will be responsible for quality, service delivery within predefined SLA’s. 1.The 3 main area's of the position are to Manage a team of 10 NOC 1st Line support Engineers and have the expereince to recruit and coach the team. 2.The canddiate should have experience of Service Management, SLA's and Incident Management. 3.Client Customer Services, provide customers with service reviews, customer reports, customer meeting's regarding incident management. •Provide incident and problem management, •Deal with management escalations •Communicate effectively to all levels internally and externally •Produce major incident reports where required. •Perform service and incident reviews with customers •Sales, bid support and customer presentations •Continually review and develop processes and procedures. •Team Quality - Responsible for number of complaints and SLA’s met. •Produce general customer facing documentation and reports. •Commercial awareness and general business support •Produce monthly NOC stats (cases handled, calls taken etc) •Technical awareness of datacomms, security, VOIP and general IT. •Knowledge of the ITIL framework for service management •Ability to own problems and follow through to resolution. •Analytical skills and the ability to use them effectively •The ability to communicate clearly in speech and in writing and translate complex technical concepts to customers and senior management. The ideal candidate must have proven success in a customer services or support delivery role, working in complex changing environments where there is a strong emphasis on performance and service excellence.
